So it’s basically just it didn’t live up the hype it had, you can blame it on the community, blame it on the trailers, or really whatever you want. Most likely Sony put pressure on Steel Wool to release the game since it was hyped years ago as a PS5 game and had already been delayed by a year. I think they focused to much on making it grand then making a good story and good quests.
It’s not a bad game, it just seems very rushed and feels like it doesn’t hold up to Help Wanted, or the FNAF click team games before. Instead the only difference is some animatronics can’t be blinded, and Roxy who I guess at the end is meant to find you with noise just kinda acts like she has eyes and walks towards you but slowly, then runs toward you when you move. Instead Vanny appears three times in the main game, her “chases” are boring and she didn’t really do anything.Īs far as I’m aware most the community expected this HUGE FNAF map that acted like the FNAF offices where you had to manage overall power, cameras and doors throughout the facility and that each animatronic would have a different kinda rule set (like FNAF has usually done) and that their would actually be a main villain (Vanny). The trailers also hyped up William Afton being a bigger part and Vanny as a characters persistently attacking you and that you would have to use stuff throughout the facility to delay or stop. However look at the trailers, more then like 60% of the stuff said/shown in the trailers never appeared. Okay well the game is very buggy, but give it a month and it will be sorted out.
